Job Description:

Step into an Operating Room Registered Nurse travel role with IU Health in Indianapolis, Indiana—built for an experienced periop professional who enjoys variety, pace, and precision. You’ll work a consistent 3x12 day shift schedule (07:00–19:30), rotating through OR specialties that may include ortho, robotics, GYN, thoracic, ENT, oral, urology, whipple, plastics (including free flap), and liver resection—while supporting perioperative workflows in a facility using advanced technologies such as the DaVinci XI.

This assignment is open to first-time travelers and includes a charge pay opportunity ($3.00 per hour bill rate bump). To be eligible, you’ll need an IN/compact license in hand or have submitted your fingerprint application package.

If you bring at least 2 years of recent periop/OR experience (within the last 3 years) with circulating and specialty coverage, you’ll be set up to contribute from day one. Please note that the role includes call: 40–60 hours of call in a 6-week schedule.

Expect generally mild conditions with a mix of comfortable daytime temperatures and cooler evenings. You may also see occasional clouds and brief rain, along with pleasant stretches that are great for getting out and about.
