Job Description:

This assignment places you in a PT Acute Care Hospital focused on therapy and rehabilitation for a geriatric patient population. You will be working on a general medicine floor, handling high-acuity cases in a regional referral center. The schedule typically involves 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for early start times at 8:00 AM and some weekend shifts—amounting to four per month. Occasionally, you may be asked to float to other general medicine floors within the hospital. The role offers an engaging opportunity to work with diverse geriatrics in a fast-paced environment, contributing your skills to patient rehabilitation and recovery. Be prepared for potential assignments to emergency teams, where flexibility and cooperation are essential. Certifications include BLS and Louisiana State License, with at least two years of experience required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
