Job Description:

This 13-week telemetry RN contract places you in a high-volume medical-surgical unit that handles complex cases, including orthopedics, long-term patients, and those with various diagnostic needs. Your main focus will be monitoring patient charts using EPIC, managing pacemakers, tracheostomies, and IV lines, and responding swiftly to rapid response or code team calls. The shift runs on a 4x12-hour night schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with an expectation to manage patient ratios between 1:5 and 1:7 in a busy, challenging environment. You must have a New York RN license in hand, and experience with charge duties, charting, and certification in BLS and NIHSS are required. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your telemetry skills while working on a unit with diverse, complex care needs.
