Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract positions you as a critical team member in the CV PreOp unit at Mission Hospital's Heart Tower in Asheville, North Carolina. You'll be working 8-hour day shifts, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with a weekly gross pay of approximately $2,815. This role involves performing advanced preoperative procedures on patients preparing for cardiac and vascular surgeries, including large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and assisting with arterial lines, central lines, and epidural placements. You will also transport patients to the OR, assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep. Expect a fast-paced environment that requires strong critical thinking and independent work, with a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:1. This assignment is ideal for experienced preoperative professionals eager to contribute to a renowned facility known for high-quality care and cutting-edge procedures.
