Job Description:

Join a high-acuity surgical trauma floor, where you'll be part of a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, providing crucial support in a setting that handles gunshot wounds, quad injuries, paraplegic patients, and other complex surgical cases. You'll utilize Epic EHR systems and bring at least two years of specialized experience to the table. Expect a patient ratio of 5:1, with additional support from phlebotomists and unit secretaries during your shift. This assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to vital patient support activities beyond direct care, including patient handoffs with the ED team and admitting staff. Flexibility in shift scheduling is required as block schedules are not permitted, and a willingness to work specific shifts is essential. No RTO is allowed, so planning ahead is important for a successful assignment.
