Job Description:

This RN position at Mercy Hospital South involves providing direct patient care on the Med Surg, Onc, and Neuro Surgical recovery units during 12-hour night shifts. You will be a key team member supporting patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities. The role offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit utilizing EPIC electronic health records, with an emphasis on collaborative care and maintaining patient rights. The assignment is 13 weeks, with flexible guaranteed hours of either 36 or 48 per week, and includes working every other weekend. Be prepared for floating to other units as staffing needs arise, and ensure all licensure and certifications are current, including Missouri RN license and BLS. This position combines hands-on patient care with the chance to deepen your expertise in a fast-paced hospital setting, all while enjoying the camaraderie of the team. Note: a positive attitude and patient-focused approach are essential for this role to thrive.
