Job Description:

This 13-week contract opportunity at Cedar Rapids Medical Center offers a hands-on role in an 22-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The selected Occupational Therapist will work 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate the team's needs. In this role, you'll assist patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, focusing on improving functional abilities and promoting independence. The setting emphasizes collaborative care with a modern Epic EMR system, and there’s a relaxed dress code of business casual. This assignment provides a chance to hone rehab skills in a close-knit facility that values your expertise and offers parking just a short walk from the building. Expect to be part of a team dedicated to supporting patient recovery with some scope to float within the unit as needed.
