Job Description:

Join Mercy Hospital Joplin as an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contracted assignment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing critical care in a busy medical ICU with a focus on complex, high-acuity patients such as trauma, stroke, and surgical cases. You will be responsible for titrating IV medications, including vasopressors, and managing patients with a variety of advanced equipment like IV pumps, chest tubes, and GE monitors. The unit usually maintains a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio but may fluctuate based on patient needs. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a landmark Level II trauma center with a collaborative, patient-focused team while enjoying the vibrant community of Joplin.
