Job Description:

Join a reputable hospital as a Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a 41-bed unit, handling post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and other Med/Surg cases. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with an average weekly commitment of 36 hours. Responsibilities include managing chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight caths, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood transfusions, and tracheostomies, requiring strong assessment skills. The position demands resilience, critical thinking, and adaptability, with some cross-campus float responsibilities to neighboring facilities. Please note, this role is located in Evansville, IN, within a 40-mile radius, and local candidates are not eligible.
