Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Emergency Room team in Fort Morgan for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing support in a busy ER that sees approximately 25 patients daily. You'll be responsible for assisting with patient triage, interpreting telemonitor readings, administering emergency medications, and performing point-of-care tests. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on the floor, adapting quickly to acuity changes, and collaborating with a dedicated team of techs, RTs, and charge nurses. The ER environment is intermingled with holds and lacks a separate psych/seclusion area, emphasizing the importance of excellent organizational skills and calm decision-making under pressure. Experience with standard ER protocols and the ability to interpret telemonitors are a must. This assignment offers the opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive setting while experiencing Colorado’s welcoming communities.
