Job Description:

Join a busy medical imaging team as a CT and X-Ray technologist in a vibrant Santa Cruz facility. This 13-week contract involves evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, where you'll perform a variety of scans, including virtual colonographies, gated procedures, and ER imaging. Expect to work with Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed scanners, adhering to safety protocols like fluororations with 10-20 scans per shift. Your expertise in CT, X-ray, and fluoro, combined with current ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications and a valid California license, will ensure smooth patient operations. Weekend rotations are standard, with a 40-hour weekly commitment, and you'll use Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS for documentation. While the hospitalist or intensivist are available in-house, radiologists are on call via Nighthawk for overnight coverage, offering a unique chance to contribute to critical imaging needs in a team-driven environment.
