Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in an acute care hospital setting, focusing on outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation. You'll work five 8-hour days, primarily Tuesday through Saturday, involved in patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and guiding patients through exercises and gait training. The role offers a hands-on experience with diverse cases such as post-surgical recovery, geriatrics, and complex medical conditions like COPD and CHF. Expect to implement home exercise programs, educate patients’ families, and utilize assistive devices as you help patients regain mobility and independence. This assignment is marked by a supportive team environment and the chance to make tangible impacts on patients' recovery journeys.
