Job Description:

Join a critical care assignment in Galesburg, IL, where you'll be working 12-hour night shifts for 13 weeks. This role involves caring for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COVID pneumonia, Afib with RVR, tachy/brady syndromes, and syncope. You'll be immersed in a clinical environment offering opportunities to monitor complex cases using the EPIC EMR system. The schedule includes every other weekend and holidays, with floating expected to ensure smooth team operations. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes settings and are comfortable taking on a variety of patient cases during extended overnight shifts. You will be part of a team that includes hospitalists, intensivists, and tele monitor techs, ensuring comprehensive support throughout your shift. The role requires active Illinois licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications, and adherence to hospital policies, including drug-free compliance and a no-vent policy, with support for Bipap and Cpap devices.
