Job Description:

Join a busy Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Charleston, South Carolina, as a Registered Nurse specializing in recovery care. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work the night shift (7:30 PM - 8:00 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, caring for postoperative adult inpatients and outpatients. You'll collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other PACU staff, ensuring patients transition smoothly from the operating room to recovery. Expect a fast-paced environment where your experience with ACLS, BLS, and multi-state licensure is essential. The unit is magnet-designated and accredited by The Joint Commission, reflecting a commitment to high standards of care. Floating within scope is permitted to meet facility needs, and local RNs are encouraged to apply at a competitive rate. This assignment provides a chance to refine recovery nursing skills in a well-equipped, supportive setting where every shift makes a difference.
