Job Description:

This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a community-based hospital located in High Point, NC. The role involves providing advanced monitoring and care for patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, or neurologic needs, including post-interventional and post-surgical cardiac patients, respiratory failure cases, and those recovering from thoracic procedures. You will be challenged to interpret cardiac strips, manage invasive lines, titrate drips, and support patients requiring continuous hemodynamic monitoring—think of it as a high-stakes, high-tech environment that keeps you on your toes. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, and you'll be working every other weekend, with a team that is both professional and supportive. This assignment offers the opportunity to build or enhance skills in a critical care setting while working with a multidisciplinary team that values teamwork and technological proficiency.
