Job Description:

Join this esteemed Level 1 Trauma Center in New Haven, CT, as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the opportunity to crosstrain and float among multiple campuses and ED observation units, providing a variety of challenging and rewarding experiences. You will handle diverse emergencies in a fast-paced environment, supporting high patient volumes with an average ratio of 1:6 during both day and night shifts. The position requires at least 1.5 years of ED experience in a comparable hospital setting and current certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and BLS. Level 1 Trauma experience is essential, and the facility offers a chance to expand your skills while working in a prestigious trauma hospital. Be prepared to work within a collaborative team where flexibility and adaptability are valued, and occasional float within scope is expected to meet facility needs.
