Job Description:

This Nuclear Medicine Technologist position offers an engaging opportunity within the Radiology and Cardiology departments. The role involves performing advanced nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies using GE equipment. Work takes place during regular daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with a set schedule of 8-hour days. The successful candidate will serve adult and geriatric patients, ensuring high-quality imaging procedures while adhering to safety and equipment protocols. The assignment stands out for its high scan load in outpatient and inpatient settings, requiring flexibility to float within the specialty and other units across sister facilities. Expect to participate in scheduled holiday coverage and weekend on-call duties every other week, including weekday evening on-call hours.
