Job Description:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment places you in Alexandria, LA, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. You'll support post-surgical and neuro patients on a MedSurg-focused unit, where your expertise will help manage patient care independently. While the schedule primarily covers weekdays, weekend shifts may be required depending on staffing needs. The role offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week, with overtime billing after 48 hours. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Epic systems and develop your capacity for managing complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment. The setting balances routine care with the need to respond to fluctuating demands, making it a rewarding challenge for committed nurses.
