Job Description:

Join the NICU team at a vibrant hospital in Norfolk, VA, for an exciting 13-week travel contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts on an EOW schedule, providing specialized care to neonates born as early as 22 weeks. You’ll be supporting a Level IV NICU with 70 beds, including private and double rooms, where you'll manage complex conditions such as prematurity, neurological disorders, congenital cardiac issues, and respiratory challenges. Expect occasional bedside surgeries and the need to float to the PICU, with primary nursing responsibilities supported by computerized charting via Cerner. This position offers a consistent 36-hour workweek and a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $2,370.28. Experience in high-acuity neonatal care and certifications like BLS and NRP are required.
