Job Description:

Join a vibrant labor and delivery team in Augusta, Georgia, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This 12-week contract offers the chance to work on night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) within a well-equipped, 16-bed unit supporting neonates, infants, and adults. You'll be responsible for managing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk pregnancies, including cases with postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension. With a 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and a supportive team environment, you'll experience the rewarding challenge of coordinating care in a busy and dynamic setting. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NRP, with AWHONN Intermediate preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Expect to work 36 hours per week, including call shifts, weekends, and possibly major holidays, contributing to a crucial role in maternal and neonatal health.
