Job Description:

This surgical technician role in Labor & Delivery offers a hands-on experience supporting cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures. You'll work overnight shifts from 7pm to 7am, ensuring the operating rooms are well-prepared and sterile for each case. Your responsibilities include assisting the surgical team by passing instruments, preparing supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Experience in L&D and C-section procedures is essential, and you'll need to bring your CST certification and at least two years of scrubbing experience in this specialty. This assignment provides the opportunity to work closely with a skilled medical team in a fast-paced setting, where your expertise directly contributes to successful deliveries and surgical outcomes. Living within 50 miles of Washington, D.C., is required for this position.
