Job Description:

Join a busy MRI department in Albany, Georgia, for a 17-week travel contract that offers the chance to work with advanced imaging equipment and a variety of complex studies. As an MRI technologist, you'll perform musculoskeletal, neuro, abdominal/pelvic, radiology oncology, and breast imaging procedures. You'll work primarily on 10-hour midday shifts, with a focus on maintaining high-quality imaging for both inpatients and outpatients. This assignment provides the opportunity to handle patient care that includes pacer and anesthesia patients, ICU, and NICU cases, all within a department that values experienced MRI technologists comfortable with Siemens and Philips scanners. The role also involves working within a team led by a full-time supervisor, with the possibility of collaborating with registered radiology assistants once onboard. Expect to scan approximately 30 patients daily, utilizing PACS systems such as McKesson or Changed Healthcare, and to start IVs as part of your workflow.
