Job Description:

This ICU RN contract places you in a busy, mixed-unit setting with beds for surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients. You'll manage complex cases such as ARDS, MI, strokes, COVID-19, and trauma, providing critical interventions on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The role involves floating to ED and other adult units if needed, working with state-of-the-art Epic charting systems, and responding to high-acuity patients requiring ventilator management, proning, vasopressors, and hemodynamic monitoring. The unit maintains a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity. Prior ICU experience of at least 2 years is required, along with certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and Epic expertise. This position offers a chance to deepen critical care skills in a supportive team environment, with a focus on evidence-based procedures and advanced technologies like Impella, IABP, and CRRT. Expect a fast-paced, challenging setting that rewards experienced ICU RNs willing to work the night shift.
