Job Description:

This 13-week contract presents a chance for experienced registered nurses to work in Aspirus Wausau's Short Stay Unit. You'll be covering 12-hour night shifts, floating across inpatient units including IMC and CTU as needed. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing observation patients, interpreting EKG strips, and handling drips like Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin. The role emphasizes autonomous work with a focus on efficient patient turnover and collaboration with ancillary staff. Expect a fast-paced environment with frequent admissions and discharges, where your resilience, flexibility, and leadership in patient monitoring will be essential.
