Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU staffing team on a 13-week contract in Philadelphia, PA. As an RN in this role, you'll work 12-hour night shifts in a specialized Intermediate Care Unit that operates as part of the Float Pool. You'll be responsible for managing complex cases such as withdrawal syndromes, opioid use disorder requiring continuous drips, and carefully monitoring patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with a patient population primarily consisting of Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU patients, with an expected patient-to-nurse ratio designed to ensure safety and quality care. Expect to evaluate, implement, and coordinate patient care plans, directing support staff and applying your nursing expertise in a specialized setting.
