Job Description:

Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team as a Registered Nurse specializing in obstetric care in Kansas City. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour day shifts, where you'll manage antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, administering medications like Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin, and providing comprehensive newborn care, including assessments and discharge teaching. This role offers the opportunity to work in a community hospital setting, handling a variety of obstetric scenarios while floating within the LDRP unit as needed. If you're experienced with high-risk deliveries and comfortable with a fast-paced environment, this assignment promises engaging work and a chance to make a real impact. Holiday and on-call shifts are required, with a focus on couplet care and full scope obstetric responsibilities.
