Job Description:

Join a dedicated NICU team in the nation's capital where you will work in a Level III NICU environment that handles a wide range of neonatal challenges. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour rotating shifts with on-call responsibilities, giving you a varied schedule and exposure to high-acuity cases. Your role will focus on providing specialized care to extremely premature and critically ill newborns, utilizing advanced equipment such as ventilators, oscillators, and pressors. Your expertise in stabilizing and caring for neonates from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months old will be essential as you perform bedside procedures, monitor complex conditions, and assist in high-risk deliveries. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of NICU experience, current license to practice as an RN in the District of Columbia, and certifications including NRP, BLS, and STABLE. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work with a team committed to delivering top-tier neonatal care in a fast-paced setting.
