Job Description:

Join Alaska Regional Hospital as a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week contract working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a private LDRP unit with 7 beds, performing a variety of procedures including inductions, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries. You will be essential in supporting women through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, utilizing advanced equipment like GE fetal monitors and Epic EMR. The unit operates with a team of skilled nurses and scrub techs, and you’ll be expected to handle patient ratios around 1:3, with on-call and weekend duties. Candidates must have current AK RN license, labor and delivery experience, and OR circulator skills to be considered.
