Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a structured opportunity for registered nurses to work in a specialized outpatient care setting, primarily focusing on orthopedic, podiatry, and surgical cases. The role involves providing routine and complex nursing procedures in an ambulatory environment with a Monday through Friday schedule of 8-hour days, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Expect to perform assessments, administer treatments, and educate patients and their families while managing a patient load that requires independent decision-making and adherence to established protocols. The assignment offers the chance to experience a variety of procedures ranging from orthopedic surgeries to urological and general surgical cases, with some floating to additional units as needed.
