Job Description:

Join a prestigious ICU team as a Registered Nurse in Middletown, Ohio, for a 13-week contract. This role offers the chance to work in a 16-bed ICU unit within a 310-bed Level III Trauma Center, specializing in neuro care, post-operative open heart surgery, and complex critical care procedures. The night shift runs 12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30, with an average of 48 hours per week. You will be responsible for managing high-acuity patients, including those on CRRT, ventilators, and post-cardiac arrest protocols, while adhering to targeted patient ratios of 1:2 in critical care and 1:3 in intermediate care. Be prepared to float within various hospital units as needed, ensuring flexible support across high-risk respiratory, COVID, and other specialized teams. Before starting, you'll need to pass an online EKG tele competency assessment, hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, and have at least 2 years of critical care nursing experience with EPIC system proficiency. Ohio RN licensure and an associate's or BSN degree are required.
