Job Description:

This respiratory therapy position requires a skilled professional to assess, treat, and care for patients with a range of breathing disorders in a hospital setting. You will take primary responsibility for delivering all respiratory care modalities, including supervising respiratory care students when needed. Your days will involve initiating and performing therapeutic procedures, maintaining detailed patient records, and operating specialized equipment. The role involves working with diverse age groups—from neonates to geriatrics—making it a rewarding challenge for those comfortable across the lifespan. Expect 12-hour night shifts every other weekend, with on-call duties each scheduling period, and some coverage of other shifts possible. Some pediatric experience and recent Epic EMR expertise (within the last year) are preferred to succeed in this assignment.
