Job Description:

Join a well-respected Critical Care Intensive Care Unit in Carroll, Iowa, for a 13-week travel contract that offers both a professional challenge and an opportunity to showcase your critical care expertise. This role involves working in a 6-bed Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) dedicated to managing patients with conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, DKA, and more. You will be responsible for titrating various drips including Cardizem, insulin, and norepinepi, while also assisting with procedures like central line insertions and thoracentesis—tasks that make this assignment uniquely engaging for nurses with at least three years of CCU experience and one year of travel nursing.
