Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity for RNs with at least 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience to work in a busy hospital setting in Weirton, WV. You'll be staffed on a unit specializing in cardiac and post-acute care, managing patients with diagnoses such as cardiac conditions, post-pneumonia recovery, post-cath lab, seizures, and more. Your days will be filled with vital signs, bathing, feeding, repositioning, and monitoring patients on cardiac drips, with the chance to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced ICU environment. The shift consists of 12-hour days, and you'll work approximately 36 hours per week, with a competitive weekly gross income of around $2,082.05. You’ll collaborate with charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and monitor techs to provide seamless patient support, utilizing equipment like vents, BiPaps, and telemetry monitors. This role is perfect for nurses comfortable with cardiac monitoring and titrating drips, and who enjoy a variety of clinical tasks beyond direct patient care.
