Job Description:
Join this bustling Level I Trauma teaching hospital as a Cardiac Cath Tech for a 16-week contract. You'll be immersed in a lively cardiac catheterization lab, working with diverse cases such as NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, and vascular procedures including lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, and TEVAR. This role offers a chance to hone your skills with advanced equipment like Philips, GE, and Siemens imaging systems, as well as EPIC EMR. Expect 10-hour shifts, five days a week, with opportunities to engage in cross-functional support teams like VAD, ECMO, and code response. If you have at least one year of cath lab experience and peripheral angiogram/run-off expertise—or are willing to learn—the team welcomes first-time travelers. This assignment stands out for its vibrant cardiac cases in a dynamic setting, giving you the practical experience of working alongside vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists in a supportive environment. The hospital's culture is known for being great, with a focus on teamwork and professional growth.
