Job Description:

This PACU nursing role in Fargo offers a unique opportunity to care for pediatric and adult patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures, including ICU, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and IR cases. The position requires managing high-acuity cases in a large hospital setting, with approximately 5 to 15 pediatric patients daily. The schedule involves 10-hour day shifts with rotating call, including occasional nights and weekends. You'll be floating between two PACU units on different floors, utilizing equipment like Phillips monitors, vents, and BiPap, all while charting with Epic and managing medication dispensing through AcuDose. The focus is on providing specialized post-surgical care without involvement in pre-op or general ward duties, making this a dedicated PACU experience. This assignment is perfect for nurses with critical care backgrounds seeking a challenging yet rewarding environment that emphasizes pediatric and adult recovery care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
