Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a fast-paced hospital setting where your expertise in MEDITECH and emergency procedures will shine. You'll be responsible for supporting a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics, handling trauma cases, neuro cases, and working alongside a full team including charge nurses, nurse aides, paramedics, and respiratory therapists. The shift is a 12-hour day schedule, with opportunities to experience the dynamic flow of an emergency department managing approximately 180-200 patient visits daily. Your role will involve coordinating with physicians, managing patient intake, and assisting with various critical tasks integral to the ER's operation. What makes this assignment unique? You’ll be part of a high-volume, trauma-focused hospital with a behavioral lockdown area and an emphasis on neuro and trauma patients, all while utilizing MEDITECH EMR to document your work efficiently and accurately.
