Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract places you on a high acuity surgical trauma floor in Atlanta, GA, where you'll be working 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week period. The role entails supporting patients with complex needs such as gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and postoperative surgical cases. Your responsibilities include assisting with patient care, documentation, and collaboration during nurse handoffs between ED and admitting units. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialty is required; BLS is mandatory with ACLS preferred. Epic experience is essential, and no time-off requests are permitted during the contract. Expect to support a patient ratio of 5:1, with additional responsibilities involving phlebotomy and night shift unit secretary duties. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to hone skills in a fast-paced, specialized environment.
