Job Description:

Join a prestigious cardiovascular ICU team in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts. This role requires a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse with at least two years of solid CVICU experience, comfortable managing complex post-surgical cardiac patients, and adept at handling ventilated, hemodynamically unstable, and device-supported cases like VADs and ECMO. You’ll be interpreting EKG strips, titrating multiple drips, and providing bedside care amidst a fast-paced environment. Experience with specialized equipment such as Swan-Ganz catheters, IABPs, Impellas, and external pacemakers is essential, and familiarity with protocols for various cardiac interventions will ensure your success. Working alongside dedicated charge nurses, house supervisors, respiratory therapists, and PCTs, you will be part of a team committed to precision care and optimal patient outcomes.
