Job Description:

This registered nurse role places you in a fast-paced 23-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in orthopedic, spine, gastrointestinal, and bariatric surgeries. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) over a 14-week contract, caring for a variety of post-operative patients and managing cardiac and oxygen monitoring. The unit receives a high volume of post-ops daily, making it an engaging environment for experienced nurses who thrive in busy settings. This assignment offers the chance to float to other units based on skillset and requires prior experience with post-op surgical patients, especially in orthopedics and gastrointestinal care. The role includes working three out of five winter holidays, providing a unique experience for those looking to maximize their professional growth in a dynamic surgical ward.
