Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you as an experienced Emergency Department RN in a busy teaching hospital that handles a wide variety of trauma cases and complex diagnoses. The role involves managing trauma and stroke patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms, performing conscious sedation, and managing critical care drips. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing care for diverse patient populations with acuity-dependent ratios. Floating to multiple facilities within the region is required, offering a chance to experience different hospital settings. This assignment offers a mix of fast-paced clinical tasks and collaboration with support teams like hospitalists, ED physicians, and RTs. The role demands technical proficiency with EMR systems, IV pumps, and med-dispensing systems, as well as adherence to necessary certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and others.
