Job Description:

This 13-week contract on a busy surgical stepdown unit offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts in Oklahoma City. As part of your role, you will provide specialized nursing care to post-surgical kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients, as well as pre-transplant evaluations. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring physiological data, assisting physicians with examinations, and coordinating patient care with families and support staff. Experience in acute care surgical floors, especially with ENT or transplant patients, will help you thrive in this setting. This position is suited for nurses comfortable with close patient monitoring and rapid response to changing conditions, with the flexibility of working either medical-surgical or stepdown patients based on unit needs.
