Job Description:

Join a skilled team as a Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse in Huntington, WV, for a 20-week contract over the winter holiday season. This role requires strong orthopedic experience and offers the chance to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a schedule of 36 hours per week. The facility is a 330-bed Level II Trauma hospital, known for its teaching program and fast-paced environment. You'll have the opportunity to float within your scope to meet staffing needs, occasionally changing into surgical scrubs when reporting to the operating room. Previous Cerner charting experience is preferred, and first-timers with orthopedic expertise are welcome.

This role involves floating within the hospital to cover medical-surgical needs, with an emphasis on orthopedic nursing experience.
