Job Description:

Join our team as a MedSurg/Telemetry RN on a 13-week contract at a renowned academic medical center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This position offers the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma and Chest Pain Center, providing varied medical cases including CHF, COPD, post-surgical care, and infectious diseases. You'll be part of a dedicated team in a 20-bed unit, managing patient loads of approximately 1:5 with support from CNAs, hospitalists, and tech staff. With a focus on wound care, drips, and cardiac rhythm interpretation, this role offers hands-on experience with advanced equipment and EMR systems, emphasizing your skills in IV starts, chest tubes, and central line blood draws. Enjoy a structured 12-hour day shift, contributing to vital patient care while gaining exposure to a dynamic hospital environment.
