Job Description:

Join us as a Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where you'll be in the heart of Wisconsin's scenic landscape. You'll work in a 44-bed intermediate cardiac step down unit, focusing on post-op cardiac patients such as those recovering from CABG, valve surgeries, and vascular procedures. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role offers the chance to focus on fast-paced, high patient turnover care, managing a typical patient ratio of 1:4, with opportunities to float to various inpatient units as needed. You'll be responsible for delivering specialized cardiac care, including managing complex drips like Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro, and utilizing EPIC charting systems. If you’re experienced in cardiac step down or ICU and thrive in resilient, independent roles, this assignment is tailored for you to make a significant impact while expanding your expertise.
