Job Description:

Join our team as an Oncology Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA, for an engaging 14-week contract on the inpatient oncology unit. You'll be centered in a specialized 28-bed adult hematology/oncology ward, along with a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit. This role offers the chance to work night shifts (12 hours) on a schedule that includes every other weekend and two winter holidays. The position involves clinical review and direct involvement in hematology/oncology treatments using the Epic electronic health record system. A knack for navigating complex treatments like chemotherapy and immunotherapy, along with ONS certification, is essential—though training can be arranged if necessary.
