Job Description:

Join our team as an experienced cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nurse on a 13-week travel contract at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA. This role offers a chance to work in a well-equipped setting with two OR suites, where you'll perform high-level procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and pacemaker insertions. You'll be part of a dedicated day shift team, with a patient ratio of 1:1, and be responsible for supporting complex cardiovascular surgeries. The ideal candidate is flexible, knowledgeable, a self-starter, and familiar with scrubbing in high-stakes procedures. Be prepared to take on call shifts during weekdays, weekends, and holidays, ensuring comprehensive coverage for a busy surgical unit.
