Job Description:

Join our team as a Dialysis RN in Wausau, WI, where you'll be supporting both inpatient and outpatient dialysis treatments across a variety of settings. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, performing complex dialysis procedures such as CRRT and Peritoneal Dialysis. Your days will include variable 12-hour shifts starting as early as 5:00 am or as late as 7:30 pm, with a focus on quality patient care in a busy kidney care unit. Expect to rotate between inpatient units with a patient ratio of 1:4 and outpatient clinics with a ratio of 1:8, sometimes covering both inpatient and outpatient roles based on the clinic’s needs. The assignment offers the opportunity to work both weekdays and every other weekend or holiday, with flexible scheduling and optional block shifts. You’ll also participate in on-call duties with a response time of 1 hour, and may be called back for work during low census periods, with appropriate pay. The role requires at least 2 years of dialysis experience, WI RN license, BLS, and prior experience with charting systems like Epic.
