Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract position takes place in various hospital areas, including the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, Peds, Peds ED, and PACU. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, providing advanced respiratory treatments such as MDI, nebulizers, ABGs, bedside PFTs, NIF, VC, and managing ventilator support with CPAP, BiPAP, and HHFNC. Transporting patients is also part of the role. Expect a blend of didactics and orientation days initially, with the requirement to float between departments and respond to calls during your shift. Prior experience in ER and adult ICU settings, along with BLS, RRT certification, and EPIC skills, are essential. PALS is preferred. This contract offers a lively work setting where you'll be a vital member of the respiratory team, engaging in diverse patient care scenarios while enjoying a focused 36 hours per week commitment over 13 weeks. First-time travelers need not apply.
