Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with NICU experience to step into a leadership role as a NICU Manager on a 13-week contract. You'll be overseeing a busy Level 3 surgical NICU, providing expert support to a team of 12-15 nurses. Your day will involve coordinating care for pre-term babies and complex surgical patients, supporting the clinical team with bed-side telemetry monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety and PPE protocols. You will have the chance to lead in a setting praised as the best place to work within the system, working alongside support staff including charge nurses, resource nurses, RTs, nurse practitioners, PTs, OTs, and CRNAs. The facility employs Meditech Expanse EMR and uses Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication systems, with no floating required. The shift is 12 hours overnight, with weekend rotations every other week and on-call duties twice a month. This role is ideal for someone ready to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment while handling a variety of challenging clinical situations.
