Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in a vibrant Level I Trauma Center located in St. Louis, Missouri. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse patient population recovering from a wide range of surgeries including neurosurgery, orthopedic, vascular, and transplant cases—excluding open-heart and liver transplants. Your daily shifts will be from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with gross weekly pay averaging $2,132.12. The role entails handling acute post-op recoveries, some requiring invasive monitoring such as ICP, artificial airways, transfusions, and vasoactive drugs. You’ll experience a busy, critical care setting with approximately 70-90 patients daily, working within a dedicated team that values expertise in critical care skills, including Epic charting, blood product administration, and IV management. This assignment offers a balanced workload with guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks, no weekend or holiday shifts, and no on-call requirements, making it an excellent opportunity to grow your critical care experience in a supportive environment.
